This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Zombie TD ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. The App is developed by Jacob Reppuhn. We designed Zombie TD to collect as little as possible. We do not run our own servers or store your personal information, and your game data stays on your device. The App does show ads through Google AdMob, which is explained below.
The App itself does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or photos, and we do not run our own analytics. The one exception is advertising: to show ads, our advertising partner Google AdMob may access a device advertising identifier and related data, as described in the Advertising section below.
Your progress and preferences, such as your currency balance, upgrades, unlocked items, and settings, are saved locally on your device using your browser/app local storage. This data:
Zombie TD offers optional in-app purchases (for example, packs of in-game "Cores"). These purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details or any billing information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Any refund or billing questions are handled through Apple.
The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, and where allowed to personalize them, AdMob may collect and process information such as a device advertising identifier, general location derived from your IP address, and app interaction data. On iOS you will be asked for permission before any data is used to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and you can decline. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant.
Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can remove ads entirely with the optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App uses standard mobile advertising, which is intended for a general audience.
The App relies on two third parties: Apple, to process optional in-app purchases, and Google AdMob, to display ads as described above. We do not sell your personal information. If our use of third-party services changes, we will update this policy.
Because your data never leaves your device, there is no server-side database for us to secure or for others to breach. On-device data is protected by your device's own operating-system security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
